I was in a bar enjoying my night with a few friends, we’d all had a few drinks and was dancing. A girl came over to us and told us they’d seen a group of men were seen slipping something into somebody’s drink. This group of men were stood directly behind me. Due to the fact the bar was extremely busy my back was pretty much touching one of the men. When the girl informed us I put my drink straight down as I was worried there would have been plenty of time for something to have been slipped into my drink whilst I was dancing. When I turned around to look at the men they split up and was heading into the direction of other groups of girls. Before I knew it security was taking the men out of the premises as one of the girls friends told them what they had seen. The men didn’t resist being kicked out they didn’t question it one bit it was almost like they knew they had been caught and that’s why they had been thrown out. It was very scary. I’m extremely grateful to the girl who told us what she had seen so we could be vigilant. Security acted so fast they was absolutely faultless then did their job within the club. Whatever happened to the men after I don’t know they probably went to another club which is scary. Due to the fact it was farmer’s weekend every single drink was given in a pint plastic cup making it near impossible to keep it covered to keep your drink safe and stop the possibility of anything being dropped in your drink extremely hard. When I am out I usually drink from bottles so I can keep my finger over the top – not once this weekend was i able to do this as all of my drinks were poured into a large plastic cup.
