Stood outside a bar on Topping Street at 8pm on my own, I was approached by a man who asked me for money. I told him I didn’t have any but he kept speaking to me. He had an accent and I couldn’t make out what he was saying. He walked away after a few seconds but kept turning around to shout back at me (again I couldn’t work out what he was saying) and eventually moved on. The same man had approached me a week earlier in town. That time wasn’t quite as unnerving because I was stood in a group but another woman he approached said he had done it to her previously as well.
