Reclaim Blackpool is working to make our town safer for women and marginalised genders by challenging harassment in public spaces. We are asking venues, businesses and organisations to commit to creating safer spaces where everyone can feel welcome and respected. By signing this pledge, you stand with us against harassment and in support of safety, dignity and equality.
Reclaim Blackpool Pledge:
We pledge to create and uphold a safe space for women and marginalised genders.
Harassment, intimidation and violence will not be tolerated in our space, and we will act quickly and seriously when it occurs.
We pledge to listen, believe and support anyone who reports harassment in our venue.
We pledge to empower our staff to speak up against harassment and to take action to ensure that everyone feels safe and respected.
We pledge to work with Reclaim Blackpool to learn, improve and respond if harassment happens in our space.
