In a group of four friends, all in our 40s, we went to ***** for a dance. Immediately we were swarmed by different men older than us who kept trying to dance, grind etc. We told them to back off but they kept coming, it was incredibly intimidating and the bouncers just watched. We did not instigate attention, our clothes were not revealing, and we were together as four females. At one point we had 10 men surrounding us, trying it on. It was like we were fair game and the rest of the pub watched on. In the end we felt so intimidated we left but were then very anxious we were going to be followed, although we weren’t. I would hate to think of how a younger female, on their own or drunk would be able to ward off such unwanted attention. The grown men aged between 40-60 did not take no for an answer. I will never go here again.
