I was playing pool with a friend when a man across the pub spotted me, came over, and started telling me how beautiful I was. After I politely made it clear I wasn’t interested, he kept pushing. He tried to put his arm around me and kept saying he just couldn’t help himself. At this point, I’d already made it clear I didn’t want to continue the conversation, but he still stayed there, staring at me and trying to insert himself into our conversation. Eventually, some of our friends, mostly guys, arrived, and he decided to leave. Later in the night, we moved to a different pub, and he approached me again. He started saying how he couldn’t help himself while continuing to harass me. We ended up hiding in a corner and eventually went home because his behavior had completely ruined our night and made us uncomfortable.
