Waiting at the bus stop with my two daughters (age 12) at 3.30pm and a man playing loud music and clearly off his head came past battering the door and windows of the community centre next to us clearly angry it wasn’t open. I knew not to watch him and keep my head down but my daughters havent learnt these hard lessons yet. When they looked at him he shouted ‘what the fuck are you looking at?’ And I told them to look straight forward. He then passed us and spat at us saying ‘yeah, that’s what I thought, you stupid fucking bitches’. Thankfully he kept walking but at that moment I was genuinely scared he could hurt us. We were cornered in the bus stop. As he passed the girls started whispering about it in disbelief and again I had to tell them to keep quiet not to attract more attention. Horrifying that a grown man would behave like this, but towards children! I felt sick and shaken. The girls were fine but their innocence really worries me too
