I parked my car on Queen Street, ironically to go and record an interview with BBC Northwest about the Reclaim Blackpool Map. When I was getting my skateboard out of my car a man approached me asking to ‘have a go’ on my skateboard & asking me what my name was. He repeatedly asked for my skateboard to which I kept replying “no”, I locked my car & walked away, he then followed me all the way down the street to the prom shouting after me “why you walking away from me?!” “love what’s your name?!” “what’s your name?!” “why you walking away?!” I ran across the road almost in front of a car to try and get away from him, he didn’t follow me after that.
