I was walking through town whilst shopping and was approached by a man who asked if I had a lighter he could borrow. I told him ‘no sorry’ and walked away. After a few minutes I realised he was walking in the same direction as me which gave me the creeps. I stopped and waited for him to walk past me. As he walked past me he looked me up and down whilst licking his lips at me, this made me very uncomfortable. I decided to walk into a shop in the hopes he would continue down the road without me. As I left the shop he was stood at the doorway waiting for me. He continued following me down the road and approached me again asking what I was doing and if I wanted to go with him. At this point I ignored him and walked into yet another shop. I stood by security and waiting until I could no longer see him. Just when I’d thought he’d gone he started to approach me again. At this point I decided to leave town and get straight into a taxi. I was far to upset and scared to continue my day as usual and wanted to be as far away from this man as possible.
