I got off the bus, around 9am on a Saturday morning, and walked towards Lord Street to go to the shop. A man who was coming out of a side street initially going the opposite way to me, turned round and started walking behind me. As I went to cross the road he did too, so I swerved left towards the shop. He followed me left too. I stood in the shop doorway and he was standing about 6 foot from me watching me. The street had been empty but a couple came round the corner with a dog, and he turned and crossed the road towards another shop. He kept looking back and I didn’t continue my journey until he was out of sight up the road and I was nervous and worried for the rest of my shopping trip.
